Martin Scored-sese

It's about damn time! After Directing a few "little" films (sarcasm) like "Taxi Driver", "Raging Bull", 'The Color of Money", "Goodfellas", "Casino"...need I go on? Martin Scorsese FINALLY got recognized for his work and received an oscar for Best Director in "The Departed". Along with his amazing movies, he always has the perfect soundtrack to tell the story. Because of "The Departed" soundtrack I've been introduced to one of my new favorite bands, "The Dropkick Murphys". Do yourself a favor and check them out. And if you're lucky enough to have a ticket to their two sold-out shows on March 9th at the HOB, I'll see you there.

Al Gore at the Grammys

Having Al Gore as a presenter at the Grammys was silly enough, especially paired-up with Queen Latifah (what the...???)..but it was completely hilarious that while he was giving the music industry props for their "environmentally conscious" behavior, confetti was still pouring out of the ceiling from the Red Hot Chili Peppers performance. Is this guy a complete moron? I'm sure the Staples Center people recycled, but once again...timing is everything.
