I'm so glad I went to see Velvet Revolver last week. Scott Weiland and Slash are true rock legends, or should I say "living" rock legends, and there aren't many of them anymore. In a "one hit wonder" music industry, not many bands stick around long enough to make "legend" status. To be original is almost impossible, but there is no doubt, especially watching them perform, that Scott and Slash are exactly that. Catch 'em while you can when they return this summer with Alice in Chains. If only Layne Staley were alive, he'd be in the same category.

Suckfest

There is a new tour travelling through your cable TV and it's called "Suckfest 2007". Headliners? The Sopranos. Critics say: "Go F$#% yourself, Tony!" "Bring back the gay, at least it made me vomit!" and "Be glad you have Alzheimers Uncle Jr., you wouldn't want to remember this!"

To say these shows have "jumped the shark" is an understatement.
