IS THIS JOE PERRY OR JOE PESCI?

I had the rare opportunity to interview Joe Perry of Aerosmith last week. I was nervous because I know Joe would rather stick a dull pencil in his eye than to do ANOTHER radio interview. The interview started with “Hello, this is Joe Perry”, to which I replied “Really? It doesn’t sound like Joe Perry”. I’m off and running! His voice was nothing like I expected. He sounded a little more like Joe Pesci in “My Cousin Vinny”, only with a Boston accent. Joe Perry is a rock legend, a God, and a HOT one at that! I was expecting the voice of Darth Vader, complete with heavy breathing and all. Like some people say to me “You don’t look anything like you sound”, Joe Perry doesn’t sound anything like he looks. I’m sure he’ll love that comparison.
