It was bad enough that Def Leppard whored themselves on Dancing With the Stars to promote their new album...BUT TO LIP SYNC!!!! UNFORGIVEABLE!!

No Erin, YOU suck. It's pretty clear that you are not a Def Leppard fan. Just in case you are not aware, Joe Elliott has been ill with an upper respiratory infection for several weeks. That may be the reason for the lip syncing, I don't know. I have seen the band live many, many times since 1983 and they actually have gotten better with age. Hope not to see you at the next Chicago-area Def Leppard concert!
savgrl21 you may be right when it comes to Joe, but what's the rest of the band's excuse? The ENTIRE BAND was playing along to the recorded version. The reason why they have improved with age is called: technology! Half of what you're hearing at the show is them playing over a recording. This is nothing new, unfortunately a lot of bands do this, however they shouldn't "play" the audience like that. People hated Ashley Simpson for lip syncing on SNL, and I would expect that from a pop star, NOT from a ROCK band that you and many other's have been a fan of since 1983!

2. Leppard were on Jimmy Kimmel last night and were 110% live. They TORE IT UP!
3. Erin, GET REAL. Leppard have been and always will be a true live band. You know this to be true, stop making false accusations outside of DWTS. There's SHITLOADS of live footage of Leppard to prove it.

yes DWTS they did lipsynch, but EVERY musical guest does. Leppard lip synched all the time on tv back in the 80's on American Bandstand and Top of the Pops, as EVERY musical artist did on those shows!
I suppose you didn't watch their Kimmel performance last night did you? That performance completely debunks your accusations. They played 4 songs from the new album. Nine Lives and Let it Go were the ones that were broadcast for the show and will be available to watch on Kimmel's site tomorrow.

Not only what taylor20 said, but there were Live on Ellen earlier that day (whether it was taped or not the day before I'm not sure).

Again, you do owe them an apology on air. You crossed the line of fact and actually personally offended me as a music fan with those accusations. I've seen Leppard twice and they give their all EVERY DAMN SHOW.
Just be aware of Leppard's live show the next time you talk about them ok? That and an apology to the band, that's all i ask

The last time I posted/looked at this site, was back in Aug. 2007, when you were dissin Eddie VH because of the pics, before he went into rehab, and prior to that you were taking bets on how long they would last. Well tonight they played at the Allstate - AGAIN! And, as usual, you're comparing your butt (which, my dear, one day will also look like) to Jen's, rippin on Def Lep. Come on, is that all you have time to do in between your so called job of playing 90% of the same songs all week, is to judge other people? Get a life. Just another reason why I don't listen.

1st.-I can't imagine Joe Elliott could sound much worse live than he does on a disc,so why not just sing anyway?
2nd.-i heard Joe Elliott has been dealing with a respiratory infection,but that's no excuse,why not just be honest with the people who do like your crappy music and tell them that's the case?
wow you are completely right erin, first off the reason Def Leppard is pathetic isnt because they lip synched, its just a bonus. What so called Rock N Roll band would go on dancing with the stars for any reason? not to mention an album they featured a country singer on, or the fact that they basically stole great white lyrics. Id like to see an interview asking nikki sixx and tommy lee to go on dancing with the stars to promote Saints of LA and see their responses, lol. Is this really what rock n roll is comin to? cause if it is we really need to redefine Rock N Roll for joe elliots purpose, absolutely pathetic!
